Furniture Estimator

Our client is a highly regarded Cabinet Maker who are currently recruiting for a Senior Estimator to join the team to produce quotations and cost estimates.They design, manufacture and install bespoke interiors for the luxury high-end residential market both in the UK and overseas and are looking for candidates that have a detailed understanding of luxury bespoke cabinet making. Main responsibilities for the Estimator include to:Be the initial point of contact for estimating enquiries, assessing size of project, technicality and suitability for the companySet-up quote sheets and price items, arrange project review meetingsCreate project timelines Ensure work is planned accurately and on a weekly basis into the Estimating scheduleAttend weekly sales meetings and mid-tender interviewsOther skills and experience needed from the Estimator:IT literate with knowledge of CAD software and ability to read and understand drawingsExcellent external and internal communication skills, a team player Strong organisational and planning skillsExcellent problem-solving abilityUnderstanding of basic revenue models, profit / loss and forecastingIn return:Salary range: £38k to £48k dependant on experience plus pensionCompany events, social events and gatherings after workFree Friday lunches for the whole teamOn-site parkingMonday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm
