This pivotal role involves managing the certification process, supporting design and development, overseeing testing and inspections, and ensuring regulatory compliance.Key Responsibilities: Regulatory Compliance: Ensure aircraft design adheres to aviation regulations and standards (FAA, EASA, etc.).Certification Process: Manage the initial airworthiness certification process for new aircraft and modifications.Design Support: Collaborate with design and engineering teams to address potential airworthiness issues.Testing and Inspection: Oversee ground tests, flight tests, and inspections to verify safety and performance standards.Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed compliance records and reports.Continuous Improvement: Participate in initiatives to enhance certification processes and stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices.Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with regulatory authorities, design and engineering teams, manufacturing, and quality assurance personnel.
