Position: Estate Manager
Location: Stanmore
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 0900 - 1730
Salary: Competitive - £68k to £72k
Holiday : 25 days per year
Contract: A permanent position that offers stability and room for growth.
Development Details:
This role will be based at a high end residential development in Stanmore, a modern development located in the London Borough of Harrow with easy access to the Jubilee line. The site consists 22 private block and 8 Housing Association blocks with a total of 710 residential apartments and benefits from 24-hour concierge, water fountain features, a lake, playgrounds, residents gym and private car park.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
As an Estate Manager:
You will be an experienced Estate Manager with a core residential property management background.
You have a demonstrable track record in managing large and complex schemes, taking a hands-on role with the ability to lead, develop and inspire a team.
You have strong M&E knowledge having managed sites with energy centres / plant rooms, taking a hands on approach and completing plant room tours.
You have experience in conducting site inspections, ensuring statutory compliance and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to.
You have high level contractor management experience, ensuring quality and performance against targets. You have managed large contractors including M&E and landscaping.
Customer service is at the heart of everything you do. You build and maintain strong relationships with your stakeholders.
You are a strong communicator, knowledgeable on leasehold legislation and will be able to go back to clients, residents and your stakeholders in a timely manner, addressing any queries or concerns.
You have experience managing on-site works such as fire safety / cladding remediation works.
You have experience managing staff and relevant employment related issues. From a strategic perspective, you can look at staffing structures, recruitment planning, training and on-boarding as well as reviewing and putting in place staffing manuals, SOP's etc.
You are a leader who values their team, so you support them, work together, build strong working relationships with residents, guests and external contractors, ultimately supporting a strong unified working environment.
