The School and Role
Vision for education is seeking a Classroom Support Assistant to work with pupils between the ages of 3 18 years old within an Ofsted rated Excellent SEND provision based in Mansfield.
The role requires a passionate, caring, and enthusiastic individual who is dedicated to supporting the complex behaviours of these children. A successful candidate will bring a positive attitude, a strong sense of empathy and a genuine commitment to helping children thrive in their educational journey. The suitable applicant will have had previous working with children and a strong understanding of supporting students with special education needs (SEND). This role can be very rewarding for somebody who wants to make a positive impact on Children s lives. You will work closely with teachers to adapt lessons, provide one-on-one assistance and help the students throughout their daily activities. You will work as part of a dedicated and committed team that have a child-centred approach in all they do.
Requirements
The desired Classroom Support Assistant will have:
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
- Experience of supporting vulnerable children or adults.
- Be able to adapt to challenging situations that can arise.
- An ability to work as part of a team.
- Experience working with challenging Behaviours.
- Passionate and committed to making a difference in SEND children s lives.
