A design and production studio specialising in creating luxury, bespoke events and innovative lighting solutions. OVERVIEWRole: Technical DesignerLocation 5 days onsite in LondonSalary £55-58k RESPONSIBILITIESWork closely with the creative/design team to understand and interpret the conceptual vision of each projectDevelop detailed technical drawings, CAD models and fabrication plans that translate creative designsCollaborate with production and events team to ensure technical designs are executed accurately and efficiently.Liaise with external vendors, fabricators and suppliers to communicate technical requirements and ensure accurate execution of designsREQUIREMENTS5+ years proven experience in technical design with a focus in the events, exhibitions, or architectural sectorsProficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Vectorworks, Rhino)Strong understanding of materials, fabrication techniques and construction methodsExcellent problem solving skillsStrong communication and collaborationAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyA degree in Technical Design, Architecture, Engineering or related field is preferred but not essentialAbility to commute to London office dailyIf this is something that would be of interest to you, please reply with your most up to date CV and Portfolio to [email protected]
