Within the Care in the Home division, we support clients with spinal cord injury, neurological and acquire brain injury to live independently in their own homes. We'dlike you to join us as aSupport Workerin Hawarden. What you'll be doing: Assist the client to exercise choice and control over their own lives as far as they are able in everyday matters but taking into consideration cognitive problems Liaise with and support the family as required Assist the client to ensure an adequate level of hygiene is maintained Supporting the client to use local amenities such as shops and leisure facilities and attend community events Follow the service user plan as documented for the client Maintain accurate and confidential records Participate in manual handling procedures as specified for the client Maintain professional boundaries with the client and their family members, adhering to direction from the case manager as appropriate When you'll be working: 2 to 5 Waking Night shifts per week Shifts 10pm -7am Regular consistent work with set rolling rotas Zero hours contracts You must commit to working regularly each month to enable continuity of care for our clients What to look forward to: up to £13.50 per hour, dependant on NVQ HSC qualification Regular consistent work Accrued holiday pay ANest Personal Pensionaccount We recognise outstandingActive Behavioursvia theActive Awardsprogramme Refer a Friend Schemeand earn yourself up to£1500by recommending someone you know and, of course, the support and guidance of our qualified clinical and business leadership teams so that you can really develop your career with Active Care Group Job description Job responsibilitiesCome and join one of the UK's largest providers ofcomplex care.
