Logistics Operator

Morson Talent are recruiting for a Logistics Operative to join a leading manufacturing company on a 12-month contract in [location]. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in a stores environment to support efficient warehouse operations and production site logistics. About the Role: 12-month initial contract, 37 hours per week. Monday to Thursday: 07:15 – 15:45 (30 min unpaid lunch) Friday: 07:15 – 12:15 (No lunch break) Key Responsibilities: Provide a high standard of customer service. Maintain housekeeping standards in Stores and Production Site. Manage stock flow between stores and production. Operate forklift for stores and site needs. Ensure safety protocols and Health & Safety procedures are followed. Take part in Continuous Improvement activities, offering suggestions for better efficiency. Support site logistics, resolving any concerns. Maintain security of the warehouse and control access. Qualifications: Experience in stores and stock management within manufacturing or defence. Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks. Forklift qualification is desirable but not essential. Aviation security and Dangerous Goods handling certifications are a plus.
