Sailmakers Mate

Morson Talent is seeking skilled and dedicated individuals to join our clients team as sailmaker mates at thier Plymouth based site. Main Purpose of Role: Manufacture and fitting of Radiological containments. Manufacture of protective weather screens and covers. Manufacture of soft furnishings. Manufacturing of gaskets: -Rubber/Sentinel/Thermiculite Work as part of a team. Problem solving. Qualifications: Successful candidates must have qualifications in English and Maths. The role also provides an opportunity for candidates to gain a good understanding of Health and Safety. While a background in textiles/fabrics is beneficial, it is not essential as training can be provided. Please note that this position may require work in radiological areas at times. Pay Rates PAYE - £16.44 p/hr UMB - Pre 12 weeks £20.32 p/hr ,Post 12 weeks £20.78 p/hr 6 Months initially could possibly lead to longer term work for the right candidate
