Manager, Risk Services

Instead, it’s about building something effective and meaningful within a dynamic, growing business that values creativity and bold thinking Minimum 5 years of senior-level experience in a financial services role within a regulated environment Experience in third-party servicer/supplier management and/or investment/portfolio risk. Other risk, compliance, or audit-related experience may also be considered, particularly if you have significant experience in consumer credit Support and deputise for the Investment Risk Director, including attending committees/forums, decision-making, and reporting. Develop and deliver the 1st Line Investment & Outsourcing Risk Framework, including: Oversight of all group investment activity and approvals, ensuring regulatory due diligence and investment risk assessments are conducted. Risk-based onboarding due diligence and ongoing oversight of the group’s outsourced service/supplier network. Monitor macroeconomic and regulatory environments, assess impacts on processes, controls, and emerging risks, ensuring the risk framework remains fit for purpose. Maintain and enhance policies/processes, including ensuring a clear audit trail, and managing workload allocation and prioritisation. Define and improve risk metrics and data-driven risk reporting. Collaborate with the Investment Risk Director to expand the scope of the Investment Framework to encompass broader business initiatives (e.g., contingent servicing). Share best practices and support the business in making informed decisions and improving overall knowledge. Minimum 5 years of senior-level experience in a financial services role within a regulated environment (essential). Experience in third-party servicer/supplier management and/or investment/portfolio risk. Approachable, supportive, and fosters a risk culture that values integrity, transparency, and growth.
