Goods in/ Warehouse operative

Here at Halmer Recruit we are currently recruiting for our busy client based in Farnham on a permanent basis. !! PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST HAVE A FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE FOR THIS ROLE , DUE TO LOCATION!! Duties include but aren’t limited to the following... * Report to Warehouse & Logistics Manager * Assist Goods In Team Leader with day to day warehouse duties * Loading and unloading of lorries / containers/Raw goods/stock. * Take delivery of materials into warehouse, check quantity, quality and store * Move goods between and around warehouse * Assist with daily cycle checks and end of year stock take * Palletise and wrap finished goods out. * General warehouse duties Ideal candidate will have the following... * Previous warehouse/goods in experience. * Must have a Full UK Driving licence & own mode of transport. * Knowledge of warehouse health & Safety. * Must be a punctual person, who is great at working alone but also great at working as a team. * Forklift licence would be ideal but is not a deal breaker. * Previous experience with inventory management/automated warehousing systems.
