X4 is currently collaborating with a long-standing client who is on the look out for a Control Systems EngineerPosition Details:Title: Control Systems EngineerSalary: £55,000 - £75,000Location: GuildfordWorking Environment: Fully OnsiteStart Date: ImmediatelyRequirements:At least 5 years of experience developing model-based softwareUnderstanding of control theory. Experience with on-vehicle ECU calibration. Proficiency with CAN Bus interrogation and stimulation tools such as Vector CANalyzer. Experience developing and correlating plant models with real components for HIL and MIL testingExperience with software version control and documentation.Understanding of control hardware, CAN topology, and wiring systems.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Control Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry.Demonstrated experience in the development and testing of control systems for electric vehicles.Experience using oscilloscopes for fault-finding is (preferred). Familiarity with high voltage systems and architectures (preferred). Reasonable to basic understanding of mechanical systems (preferred).Feel free to share with your network!
