Our client, a major Quantitative Hedge fund, is looking to hire a skilled Python Software Engineer to help build out Regulatory and Compliance Technology as part of a new London-based team.This is an excellent opportunity to play a crucial role in optimizing the firm's trading, compliance, and regulatory technology systems.This role allows you to join one of the world's most successful hedge funds, collaborate with an exceptionally talented team operating in a hybrid approach, and earn market-leading compensation packages.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain Python-based compliance and regulatory reporting tech applications, systems, and controls.Collaborate with quant teams to integrate tools into trading workflows.Develop and integrate automation solutions using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools.Automate data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.Ensure systems meet regulatory standards and compliance requirements.Desirable Candidates:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.Previous software development experience at a hedge fund, trading firm or investment bank.3-5 years of Python development experience and proficiency in SQL.Experience with RPA toolsStrong understanding of compliance, regulatory, or financial systems.Experience with data processing, automation, and APIs.CQF certification is advantageous.To discuss the role in confidence, please reach out to Rhys at [email protected].
