Experienced Proportional Treaty Reinsurance Technician

We have a unique opportunity to join an established global broker in the heart of their technical team. You will have An in-depth knowledge of Treaty contracts and in particular Proportional accounting. Also possess a knowledge of other technical disciplines and a strong general understanding of the insurance industry and is able to solve complex problems while taking a new perspective on providing solutions. Responsibilities Technical Has own technical case load. Works independently to handle all aspects of proportional accounting, including create, calculate and process portfolio and profit commissions on behalf of client when required Works with team to manage wider team case load as required, especially during busy periods Takes lead for their own accounts, responding to queries and liaising across business departments to actively resolve accounts in a timely manner.Projects & Change Management Contributes as a source of strong technical knowledge on ad hoc and continuous improvement projects Assists with IT platform upgrade activities on behalf of Operations team as required Assists and informs implementation work on process improvement initiativesManaging Information Act as influencer to Cheltenham Operations and wider Group Coach and develop the technical skills of team members Deliver learning events as and when required on area of specialist knowledgeQuality Assurance Undertake quality assurance checks, remedying any mistakes and errors before submission.
