Water Resources Analyst Job Title:           Water Resources Analyst Salary:               Up to £37,000 per annum           Hours:               37 hours per week Location:          Fulbourn, Cambridge (with some travel to Walsall)   As a leading Company who is recognised throughout our industry for outstanding service and high-quality standards, we provide a constant supply of drinking water.  We are offering an exciting opportunity to help us plan our water resources supplies for the next 25 years and beyond in both our South Staffs region and Cambridge region. The Role: Assist and provide support in all aspects of preparing and monitoring the Company’s Water Resources Management Plans across both regions. Support investments to maintain water supplies and assist in determining the components of company plans for supply and demand scenarios. Collect, analyse, and report data to support technical documentation for statutory plans using industry-standard methods for forecasting and planning. Model data to support water resource management plans. Support drought planning and water resources updates. Work on compliance issues, including MCERTS. Monitor and forecast water abstractions, discharges, and water resources assets. Ensure strict adherence to compliance requirements. Undertake research, critique, adapt, and develop new techniques for water resources management. Manipulate and analyse data using spreadsheets and analytical tools. What You Will Need: A full, valid driving licence (essential) as some travel will be required. Strong work ethic and organisational skills. Ability to collate and analyse data using spreadsheets and analytical tools. Competence in producing clear and concise reports and presentations. Excellent communication skills for liaising with team members and key stakeholders. Some experience in water resources management, water supply and treatment, hydrogeology, or the water industry (desirable). Knowledge of UK Water Resources Planning, Environment Agency methods, and environmental impact assessment (Desirable).
