About the role: We are looking for a part-time KS1 Teacher to join our dedicated team, with an expected workload of 3 days per week. This role has become available due to a maternity leave, providing you with the chance to step into a supportive environment where you can make a meaningful impact on young learners’ lives. The KS1 class consists of around 25 students, and you will have the opportunity to nurture their development in a collaborative and engaging setting. This role stands out as it allows for creativity in lesson planning while providing a chance to inspire the next generation in a friendly and dynamic school community. Application Requirements: • A valid Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. • Strong knowledge of the UK primary curriculum, particularly in Key Stage 1. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate young learners. • Experience working with students with special educational needs would be advantageous. • A passion for fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. Key Responsibilities: • Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that cater to different learning styles. • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential. • Create a positive and nurturing classroom environment where students feel safe and confident to express themselves. • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience. • Participate in school activities and contribute to the wider school community.
