*Registered Care Manager | Northampton NN3 | £40,000 £50,000 depending on experienceAn exciting position has become available for a full time Registered Care Manager to join our friendly team based in Northampton. If you have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Registered Care Manager with a Level 5 Management Award and have a strong understanding of care service and delivery, within a Residential Care Home, then this is a perfect opportunity to further your career and join a fantastic company. Role RequirementsA minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Registered Manager with a Level 5 Management AwardYou must be able to develop positive relationships with external stakeholders such as CQC, Social Services and the local Safeguarding team; and also motivate and develop staffProven management experience at a similar levelEstablished leadership skills to manage our team of staffWill have 24/7 responsibility for the Care HomeEffective multi-tasking and prioritisationStrong commercial awareness within the Care industry requirementsA Registered Manager with relevant experience in a senior management capacity is desirableYou must have a strong understanding of care service and delivery, within a Residential Care HomeGood knowledge and literacy of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook as a minimum)Role ResponsibilitiesCarry out comprehensive Pre-Admission Assessments and promoting positive and Person-Centred Care and Care Plans for all Resident’s, as well as Risk AssessmentsManaging risk appropriately and safelyLeading and developing staff across all functions (care and non-care)Ensuring all staff are trained to the required levelsImplementing and managing of audits and governance structuresSafe recruitment, selection and retention of staffEmployee relations, including staff communications, managing absence, disciplinaries, grievances and sicknessesActively ensuring the Home has the highest possible level of occupancy by utilising links with the local community, positively marketing the Home and increasing public awareness of our servicesThe ability and drive to be caring and supportive of resident’s and their relativesCompany + BenefitsOur client places great emphasis on providing care at the core of all its activities.
