About the role: Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant with a specialism in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs to join our supportive team. In this full-time, long-term role, you will play a vital part in creating a nurturing environment for students facing anxiety and depression. Your caring nature and positive attitude will help guide them towards success, ensuring that every child feels valued and supported in their learning journey. Key Responsibilities: • Support students with SEMH needs, fostering their emotional well-being and academic growth. • Work closely with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement personalized learning plans. • Provide 1:1 and group support, helping students to manage their emotions and develop coping strategies. • Assist in creating a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere, promoting positive behaviour. • Collaborate with parents and caregivers to reinforce learning and emotional strategies at home.
