In this role, you will hold responsibility for procurement of goods, works and services to support Energy Nuclear Operations fleet of Nuclear Power Stations. This will include upstream procurement activity, drafting procurement strategies, market category management and downstream Contract Management as required.The Role Procurement Management:Develop and implement effective procurement strategies.Negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.Ensure supply chain risks are understood, managed and communicate. Process Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvement within procurement and administrative functions.Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Streamline workflows to optimise resource utilisation. Compliance:Ensure procurement activities adhere to relevant laws and regulations.Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies and procedures.We’re looking for:Ideally, a minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a procurement and/or similar environmentPossess a high standard of Procurement competence in key areas of sourcing, process knowledge, contracting skills and supplier management. Good negotiation skills that drive positive business outcomes and ability to influence at all levels.Good project management skills, product awareness, commercial acumen, financial awareness, risk and opportunity managementDemonstrate exemplary business acumen.Works on own initiative with minimal supervision and with responsibility for delivery, escalating concerns.AccountabilitiesMaintain and improve the necessary systems proving information required for in house, stator and regulatory reportingManage the revenue streams form FIT Installations InterpersonalExcellent communications skills Able to communicate clearly with a variety of audiencesVery good interpersonal skills that support collaborative stakeholder relationshipsGood project management skills, product awareness Company benefits:The clients continued success depends on our people.
