iD Mobile is one of the fastest growing MVNOs ever in the UK market. We quickly grew to over 1.6 million subscribers as a disruptive new entrant, levering our unique position as the only network owned by Currys (a FTSE 250 company). iD is one of the main strategic growth opportunities for Currys, underpinning its mobile category.
The Product Owner is the interface between the business and our engineering resource, which is delivered, offshore, by Infosys, and managed through Central Engineering (who are onshore).
They are responsible for writing detailed business and functional requirements into stories that technical architects and technical leads can derive technical requirements from, that ultimately become playable stories that Infosys can develop and deploy.
The Product Owner liaises with subject matter experts and stakeholders across both businesses, in order to understand, articulate and prioritise the backlog and roadmap requirements.
Role overview:
As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for:
• Owning and scoping the roadmap for iD online
• Consulting and advising all business stakeholders
• Handling all business requirements for the development roadmap
• Researching and articulating business and functional requirements
• Prioritising and managing tickets for each of the two brand roadmaps in scope for this role, and support cross-brand prioritisation
• Being a key contributor / owner of the refinement of stories and backlog as a whole
• Being the point of contact for Scrum Master, Technical Leads, BAs and developers
• Providing sprint / testing / production sign-off to ensure requirements are delivered as described
You will need:
• To be an expert Jira & Confluence user
• Experience with the following; GA/GA4, Contentsquare, Optimizely
• Extensive experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or Service Design Lead
• To have experience working in an Agile (scrum) environment in software development
• D2C E-commerce experience, including payment systems, technical SEO, business critical integrations
• Experience working in multi brand environments
• Experience working in mobile or other regulated industries (e.g. FCA regulated)
