Maintenance Electrician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer | Commercial Environments | London & Surrounding Areas | £55K OTE per annum | Weekly Pay | Permanent role with Company Van. Are you an experienced Maintenance Electrician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer? Due to contract expansion, we are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our growing in-house engineering team of 160 trade professionals working on a mobile basis. As a Maintenance Electrician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), alongside fault finding, repairs and reactive maintenance across a commercial portfolio of properties (Coffee Shops, Restaurants, Retail Stores, Pubs, Offices etc). Due to the nature of the client base / environments, works will be reactive biased. Package: What is in it for you? * Role: Maintenance Electrician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer * Status: Permanent, PAYE * Pay Schedule: Weekly (1 week in hand). * Basic Salary: £42,000 per annum * OTE (on target earnings): £50,000 - £60,000 per annum. * Provided: Company Van, Fuel Card, Uniform, Phone, Pension etc. * Overtime rate: Mon-Fri 06:00 - 00:00: X1.5 rate. Mon-Fri 00:00-06:00: X2 Rate. Sundays & Bank Holidays: X2 Rate. * Call out: 1 in 4 weeks: £80 per call out + overtime rates after 1st hour on-site. * Locations: Mobile, dependant on home address: Central London, Greater London & Surrounding Areas (the business aims to keep travel within 60 minutes of home address). * Travel Time Pay: Paid D2D after 30 minutes each way - no deductions for lunch break. * Environments: Commercial / Light Commercial - Restaurants, Retail Stores, Coffee Shops, Pubs etc. * Training, progression and up-skilling opportunities on offer (company funded). Duties: As a Maintenance Electrician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be carrying out: * Planned preventative maintenance (PPMS), Fault finding, repairs and reactive maintenance, Minor Installations, Testing and Inspection (if qualified to do so). * Ie: Inspection of electrical systems, checking circuit breakers, fuses and relays. Lighting / emergency lighting tests, replacing worn components, lubricating motors, tightening loose connections, wiring, cabling, re-wiring, single / 3 phase power supplies, calibration, lighting upgrades, lamps/ballasts, sockets, circuits, installing / replacing electrical accessories ie: MagLocks etc. Other internal/external security and safety lighting features, power supplies to security and HVAC equipment, fire alarm tests etc. * If you hold testing and inspection qualifications then duties could also include EICRs, fixed wire testing, PAT testing etc. * Working in-around the London region (up to 50 mile radius). * Driving the company vehicle in a safe and professional manor. * Working within a client facing role. * Updating the company / client CAFM systems with updates / job notes on works carried out. * Ordering / collecting parts and materials (on company account). Requirements: To be considered for the role of Maintenance Electrician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer position, we will need you to meet the following requirements: * Must be a qualified Electrician, ie: NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds 2330 Level 3, City and Guilds Electrotechnical Level 3, City and Guilds 2360 Part 2 or equivalent. * City and Guilds 18th edition is preferable, however 17th edition will also be considered. * City and Guilds Testing and Inspection (ie: 2391, 2392, 2394, 2395) would be beneficial but non essential. * Must have legal right to work in the UK. * Must be able to drive in the UK with less than 7 points on your driving license. * Must have experience working as an Electrician, maintenance experience within commercial environments would be highly preferable, however maintenance and installation experience from commercial, domestic and industrial backgrounds will be considered. * Happy to work within a 50 mile radius of home address. * Able / Happy to go through a background check (DBS).
