The role:

This full-time position will suit an experienced Business Development Manager with an excellent record of closing and opening profitable deals. Successful applicants will have experience of creating new business opportunities within the FM space from both leads provided to them and from existing contacts.


Role Responsibilities:

  • New business sales which include generating new leads, cross-selling, and closing deals.
  • Utilizing personal networks to create new opportunities.
  • Marketing the company’s surveying, auditing, and remediation services, with a focus on passive fire safety (fire dampers, duct cleaning, fire doors and compartmentation works) across the UK.
  • Travelling to client sites as required.
  • Meeting and exceeding established KPIs and targets.


Experience:

  • Proven track record of generating sales within the fire protection and/or ventilation industries.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the fire protection and ventilation industries.
  • Demonstrated experience in new business B2B sales.
  • Experience in these industries is crucial for success in this role.


License/Certification:

Driving License (Mandatory)


Work Location/Time:

This role is hybrid, requiring weekly attendance at sales meetings at our Chelmsford head office.


What are we looking for in a candidate?

We are seeking candidates who bring experience from the fire protection industry, although individuals with backgrounds in similar facilities sectors may possess the requisite skills and networks for the role.

The successful candidate will be a motivated, diligent professional with an exceptional track record in new business generation.

A proven history of sales generation within the fire protection and/or ventilation industries is a must.

The role involves New Business Development, which includes the generation of new leads, cross-selling opportunities, and deal closure. We value proactive individuals who can drive growth and contribute to our ongoing success.
