Team: Vehicle SalesLocation: 1 Canute Place, Knutsford, WA16 6BQHours of Work: 9:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday and 10:00am to 5:00pm, every other SaturdaySalary: £28,000.00 basic salary per annum, plus commission. OTE of £65,000.00 per annum. The primary responsibilities of the role will include:Developing exceptional product knowledgeNetworking and Social Media ActivityThe sale of New and Used Vehicles to retail customersThe sale of Vehicle Parts and Conversion packages to retail customersExpansion of current client baseEstablishing new client relationships and managing effectivelySale of New and Used Vehicles, Vehicle Parts and Conversion Packages to Sports. Media, Entertainment and HNW Customers Maintaining an awareness of vehicle finance optionsCarrying out vehicle handovers with customers Managing and maintaining customer information through the company database system. Any other duties as and when requiredKey ResponsibilitiesDeveloping Exceptional Product KnowledgeDeveloping and maintaining exceptional knowledge of Overfinch vehicles, including Land Rover base models and any Overfinch enhancement products.Developing knowledge regarding the manufacturing of Overfinch vehicle enhancement products.Carrying out training on new model vehicles to maintain product knowledge. Networking and Social Media ActivityActive and regular networkingIdentifying weekly networking opportunities Attending agreed events, including but not limited to luxury retailer events, sporting events such as player of the year awards at local football club etc.Regular social media activity in line with company policy. The Sale of New and Used Vehicles to Retail CustomersResponding to day to day UK vehicle sales enquiries.Scheduling and maintaining a diary of appointments at the Showroom for customers to view and test drive vehicles. Maintaining favourable relations with existing vehicle sales customers. Liaising with the Head of Sales Administration and Data Management to maximise customer prospecting opportunities. Processing payments for deposits toward the sale of vehicles.Identifying opportunities to upsell vehicles and pitching to the Head of UK Sales.Liaising with warehouse staff regarding vehicle delivery lead times, the shipment of products and the management of stock levels. Ensuring that all paperwork is fully completed in line with the Company sales process.The Sale of Vehicle Parts and Conversion Packages Retail CustomersResponding to day to day UK sales enquiries (by email and telephone) alongside other sales colleagues.Actively seeking out new clients and establishing and managing new client relations. Working to targets and undergoing periodic performance reviews against these targets. Maintaining favourable relations with existing Customers.Processing payment for the sale of vehicle enhancement parts, either in person or over the telephone. Identifying opportunities to upsell to existing and new UK Customers and proactively reaching out to make a sale. Suggesting and assisting to implement any promotions.Liaising with warehouse staff regarding lead times, the shipment of products and the management of stock levels. The Sale of New and Used Vehicles, Vehicle Parts and Conversion Packages to Sports. Media, Entertainment and HNW CustomersDeveloping relations with sports, media, entertainment and HNW customers. Responding to day to day sports, media, entertainment and HNW customers enquiries (by email and telephone).Scheduling appointments for customers to view and test drive vehicles. Maintaining favourable relations with existing sports, media, entertainment and HNW customers. Maximising customer referral and prospecting opportunities.Identifying opportunities to upsell vehicles and presenting these to the Head of UK Sales for approval.Liaising with warehouse staff regarding vehicle delivery lead times, the shipment of products and the management of stock levels. Ensuring that all paperwork is fully completed in line with the Company sales process.Maintaining an Awareness of Vehicle Finance OptionsEnsuring that vehicle finance is discussed with every customer. Carrying out routine compliance in respect of vehicle finance. Carrying out regular training in respect of vehicle finance. Carrying out Vehicle Handovers with CustomersAttending vehicle handovers at locations as dictated by the customer. Carrying out the appraisal of a customer’s part exchange vehicle.Configuring new vehicles to the customer’s specifications.Ensuing that the customer fully understands the features of their vehicle. Fully completing company forms relating to vehicle handovers.   Managing and Maintaining Customer Information Through the Company Database SystemMaintaining accurate records of existing and new customer information, including contact information, through the company database. Working in accordance with data protection laws, using any data for the intended purpose and not sharing data with those who have no cause to receive it, and keeping an audit trail of any customer data from collection to destruction. Any Other Duties As and When RequiredAny other duties as and when required by the Head of UK Sales, larger Senior Team and the Company.Essential Skills and ExperienceEducated to degree level in Business, Sales or an equivalent discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience. At least five years’ progressive experience in automotive or luxury sales. A demonstrable ability to achieve and exceed targets.Experience of line managing or supervising staff is desirable. An awareness of the Overfinch brand and / or a willingness to learn. Significant experience working with high net worth individuals.An ability to build a rapport with a wide range of customers, suppliers and colleagues. An ability to work as part of a team under your own initiative. An ability to set, implement and comply with company policies (including the company sales procedure), and encourage compliance by others. An awareness and understanding of data protection laws.
