Team Leader - Semi-Independent Living Services – Young People Kingston Upon Thames Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum + £70 per sleep-in + Benefits Contract: Full-Time Our client, a leading provider of semi-independent living services for young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) aged 16-18, is seeking a dedicated Team Leader to join their passionate team in Kingston upon thames on a full time, permanent basis. About The Company: Our client, a west established provider who offers tailored support and accommodation to young people in their transition to independence. The services are built on compassion, expertise, and a commitment to helping young people thrive. The Role: As a Team Leader, you will work closely with management, guiding and supporting key workers in their daily tasks to ensure the well-being of young people in our client's care. You will be responsible for overseeing service delivery, ensuring compliance with procedures, and assisting with the administration of cases. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor staff, leading by example and promoting best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and support key workers to ensure the highest standard of care is delivered. - Liaise directly with management to ensure smooth operations and effective service delivery. - Handle IT and administrative duties, ensuring accurate record-keeping and documentation. - Use Mentor Software to manage case files and reports effectively. - Assist in maintaining a positive, safe, and supportive environment for young people. - Participate in sleep-in shifts, paid at £70 per night. Requirements: - Previous experience working with young people with EBD, ideally within a semi-independent living environment. - Achieved a Level 3 in Health & Social Care / Children’s Residential - Strong IT and administration skills, with the ability to manage case files and reports. - Experience using Mentor Software is highly desirable. - Proven leadership skills, with the ability to supervise and mentor a team. - Excellent communication and organisational abilities. - Commitment to promoting independence and well-being in young people.
