Architectural DesignerHampshire £50,000 - £65,000 A prominent UK housebuilder is seeking a talented Architectural Designer to join their creative team in Winchester. This role is perfect for an individual who is passionate about residential design and eager to contribute to the creation of high-quality, innovative homes. The role will focus on delivering the highest quality designs and most commercially viable planning permissions by supporting the Planning team with designs and supporting information required for the preparation and submission of planning applications. Key Responsibilities:Develop and refine architectural designs for residential projects, ensuring they meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.Collaborate with the design team, engineers, and planners to produce detailed drawings and specifications.Ensure that all designs comply with UK building regulations, planning policies, and company standards.Assist in the preparation of planning applications and respond to any design-related queries during the approval process.Participate in site visits to oversee the implementation of design elements and address any on-site challenges.Work closely with external consultants, suppliers, and local authorities to ensure seamless project execution.Contribute to the development of new house-type designs and architectural concepts in line with market trends and customer preferences.Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into designs.Qualifications and Experience:Degree level qualification in a relevant fieldPrevious experience in the housebuilding sectorCapable of preparing and managing a number of planning applicationsComputer literate with knowledge of Autocad
