Job Title: Demand Planner Location: Head Office, Brentford Contract : Fulltime/Permanent Hours of Work: 37.5 (any 5 days in 7, shifts vary between the hours of 9am-5.30pm) Department: Operations Reporting to: Head of Operations Aromatherapy Associates has been sharing the therapeutic powers of essential oils for over 35 years. The Brand was founded in 1985 by Geraldine Howard & Sue Beechey, therapists that had trained under the renowned aromatherapist Micheline Arcier, who can be traced back to the modern-day founders of aromatherapy. Overview of the role The Demand Planning role is key to translating commercial plans into operational plans and actions. The Demand Planner will manage insightful forecasts at SKU and channel level, by region and key activity – as well as NPD and seasonal launch plans. This role is a key aspect of the S&OP process and central to the business integrated planning. Key Responsibilities Responsible for generating accurate SKU level forecasts across the global network Manage demand reviews with account managers to ensure commercial plans are all being accounted for Manage demand exceptions for campaign activity Manage pack off plan calendar within 3PL for bundles, reworks and testers Prepare monthly S&OP deck Forecast accuracy evaluation with details on trends and bias to improve accuracy Work with the Supply team to ensure that forecasts are met with timely production plans – or that requirements are managed with expectations on production timings Work with NPD team to support appropriate forecasting against new products Work with trade operations team to ensure inventory is available for customer requirements Manage all communication internally on inventory availability Person Specification Advanced level of excel essential, with experience in managing and analysing large volume of data At least 3 years’ experience in a demand planning role Strong commercial awareness Demonstratable problem solving and numeracy skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong understanding of Demand Planning within the context of an S&OP process Excellent attention to detail Must be able to commute to head office in Brentford 2-3 times per week Right to work in UK This role does not offer sponsorship candidates must have right to work in the UK.
