Maintenance Engineer

Job role: Maintenance Engineer Salary: £38,000-£40,000 (OTE £45,000) Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire Hours: Monday - Friday Flexible hours (phone number removed) or 08.00-16.30) Job Type: Full Time, Permanent The Company: Interaction have partnered with a well-established, industry leading manufacturer based in Kettering. Due to continuous growth, our client is now looking to add a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias to their busy engineering team. The Package: · 23 days holiday + public holidays · Company Pension & Sickness Scheme · Training and development offered · Overtime available at enhanced rate · Onsite Parking · Wider benefits package inclusive of dental, health and discounts for high street brands The Role: · Minimise production downtime, by carrying out routine scheduled maintenance (PPMs) and respond to unplanned breakdowns with the stipulated timeframes. · Ensure that production operations maximise output and minimise downtime safely through regular planned maintenance. · Work on an array on fabrication, cutting, pressing, shot blasting & spraying equipment Respond to unplanned breakdowns in a timely and effective manner, working alongside engineering and production colleagues to minimise disruption. · Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns · Carry out all work according to Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, SOPs, Dynamic Risk Assessments and company policies and procedures. The Requirements: · Mechanical Bias preferred · Previous experience as a mechanical maintenance engineer within Plant, Manufacturing, FMCG, Moulding would be advantageous · Relevant qualification or time served engineers (over 10 years experience for time served / City & Guilds / NVQS) · A good understanding of hydraulic & pneumatic systems would be advantageous · Open for training & development Similar Roles include: Maintenance Engineer, Breakdown engineer, Industrial engineer, Industrial electrician, Multiskilled Engineer, Field Service Engineer Interaction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
