Hearing Therapy Ltd Company Description Hearing Therapy Ltd is a Sheffield-based clinic that specialises in the holistic, clinically driven and patient-centred care of hearing loss, tinnitus, single sided deafness, and wax management. The clinic is run by Tim Husband, a registered Clinical Audiologist, Hearing Aid Dispenser, and Hearing Therapist. With three decades of experience in the field, Tim and his team manage two branches in Sheffield and one in Mirfield, West Yorkshire We have recently been awarded CQC registration status which enables us to expand our services to paediatric patients Role Description We are looking for an engaged, highly skilled and talented Audiologist focussed on delivering the best outcomes for their patients and motivated to support the growth and excellence of our clinics. Confident with working autonomously with patients with complex needs to BSA and BSHAA standards and within the guidelines of the HCPC registration body. This is a full-time role located in Sheffield for an HCPC Registered Audiologist. You may be asked to deliver clinics at Dore or Mirfield as required by the clinic. You will be responsible for conducting hearing tests and assessments, diagnosing hearing disorders, recommending and fitting hearing aids, conducting wax micro suction and irrigation and providing counselling and education on hearing healthcare. You also be expected to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, participate in professional development activities, and keep up-to-date with industry trends and innovations. Training opportunities and funding will be provided where required by the clinic. Qualifications Foundation degree in Audiology or equivalent Current registration with HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) Experience working as an Audiologist, preferably in a clinical or healthcare setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information to patients and their families Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organisational and time-management skills Familiarity with audiology equipment and software Experience in managing complex hearing losses is desirable Experience with Micro Suction is essential Extended Scope of Practice skills in areas such as paediatrics, tinnitus and balance would be desirable Strong history of excellent sales performance in a commercial setting Compensation Excellent £70K OTE Uncapped compensation package On-site Parking Permit Offsite Mileage allowance Company Pension Training budget to extend scope of practice Latest Fitting Equipment, Primus Pro, REM etc Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Graduate Pay: £38,000.00-£70,000.00 per year Uncapped OTE earnings Additional pay: Bonus scheme Benefits: Company pension Free parking On-site parking Schedule: Monday to Friday 9-5pm 40 hours/week Weekend availability Ability to commute/relocate: Sheffield: reliably commute or be willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required) Experience: Audiology: 1 year (more preferred) Work Location: In person
