Job Profile
As the successful CNC Turner (Mazak Lathes with Milling capability - MillTurn) Programmer Setter Operator you will be working on state-of-the-art machine tools alongside a friendly team of 6 other engineers, producing small batches of high tolerance parts / components.
Duties:

• Programming, setting and operating Mazak CNC MillTurn machines with Mazatrol
• controls
• Producing components from engineering drawings with batch sizes ranging from 1 to
• 100 off
• Machining to tolerance of +/-0.01mm from materials such as Brass, Aluminium
• Stainless Steel and Inconel

Skills:

• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, producing programs from scratch
• Experience of working with Mazak CNC MillTurn machines with Mazatrol controls
• CADCAM programming would be an advantage but not essential
• Background in a subcontract machine shop would be an advantage

Hours:

• 39hrs per week
• 7am to 4pm, Monday to Thursday
• 7am to 12pm, Friday
• Lots of overtime available (up to 15hrs per week) paid at x1.5hrs
