You will have proven experience in achieving good A*-C grades through delivering “Good” and “Outstanding” teaching. You will be confident teaching Resistant Materials and/or Product design to KS4. The new Design Technology Teacher will join a band of Art and Design Teachers who have achieved a good degree of success over the years. As a school which has had “technology specialist status”, the DT department is blessed with excellent machinery and learning resources to ensure that your classes can excite and invigorate the pupils and continue to hit and exceed benchmarks. The is a 11-18 mixed, non-selective Secondary with approximately 1000 on roll. The School had adopted a curriculum which is leant slightly towards more vocational subjects.
