Job Title: Senior Development Engineer Location : Burgess Hill Salary : £40,000 - £50,000 Business Overview: This is a fantastic chance to join a world leading business, supporting them in the development of their products and supporting applications. Job Objectives: 1.Project Delivery: Successfully managing and executing new technology projects, ensuring they meet defined goals and timelines. 2.Technology Investigations: Conducting thorough research and analysis to explore emerging technologies that could benefit future products. 3.Planning and Design: Strategically planning and designing innovative technologies and methods that align with the vision for future products. 4.Development and Evaluation: Developing prototypes or models of these technologies and rigorously evaluating their effectiveness and usability. 5.Demonstration: Showcasing the developed technologies to stakeholders to illustrate their potential impact and usability in future applications. Key Skills & Experience: - Develop and implement cutting-edge technology solutions to enhance the performance and application potential -Reports and Supporting Documentation: Creating comprehensive reports that analyse the strengths, weaknesses, and limitations of the proposed technology deployment. - Proof-of-Concept Demonstration: Developing and presenting a proof-of-concept to validate the usability and effectiveness of the technology. - Detailed Test Reports: Documenting the results of testing phases to ensure that the technology meets required specifications and performance standards. - Methods, Calculations, and Design Rules: Applying established methods and calculations to guide the design and implementation processes. - Technical Specifications and Descriptions: Drafting detailed technical specifications that outline the requirements and functionalities of the technology. -Engineering Models, Sketches, and Drawings: Creating visual representations and models to support the design and development of the technology. Qualifications: A degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering/Science or equivalent), and a minimum of 3 years hands-on engineering experience.
