As a member of the Central Government architecture capability, you will assist Civica’s clients in developing an integrated view of the enterprise organisation and associated strategy. Responsibilities: Work independently or as part of a team Apply business architecture frameworks, principles and techniques to client engagements. Lead and direct client engagements from the perspective of business architecture. Develop and promote use of business architecture frameworks, principles and techniques within the Civica Services capability. Simplify complex business architecture frameworks into clear actions Advise & guide clients on implementation of strategy. Develop clear views of client organisations to support decision making. Communicate complex information to client stakeholders. Provide advice and recommendations to clients based on specialist knowledge and experience. Demonstrate to clients a strong understanding of their business issues and their impact. Define principles, patters, standards, policies, roadmaps and vision statements. Develop, maintain or update strategy in response to feedback and findings Act as pre-sales business architect to support bids and proposals. Support identification of training needs across internal teams. Collaborate with colleagues across other disciplines to ensure consideration of business architecture at all stages of the delivery lifecycle. Participate in development of internal business architecture capability. Mentoring of junior staff as part of internal career growth. Essential competencies: Hands-on experience of industry standard modelling tools (e.g. Sparx EA or Bizzdesign), languages and techniques. Experience of common Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, BizBOK etc… TOGAF certified with experience of applying the framework in a client environment. Degree level education, or equivalent. Ability to articulate and present different points-of-views on various technologies and architecture patterns. Highly customer focused, able to quickly build trust and develop customer intimacy. Imagination to identify innovative approaches to critical problems. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to guide, direct, motivate and support staff either directly or indirectly. Consultancy skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders at senior levels. Effective time management and an ability to recognise and respond to changing priorities and requirements. Good organisation skills. Self-starting and self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude.
