We have an exciting opportunity for AREA LEADER to join Our Team at Ruskington site on the following shift: Afternoon Shift 14 :00pm - 22:00pm (40h per week, flexibility required) We specialise in Snacking Products which include Scotch Eggs, cocktail sausages, mini filled bites and seasonal products. You will help shape and structure your department. This will include overseeing the management and smooth running of your area. You will look to align and maintain capacity, efficiency, yields and quality to meet market demand as well as exciting growth targets for the Site. You will lead the Team and support with the co-ordination of the workflow between departments, monitoring and improving processes as required, ensuring on time deliver, exceptional quality levels and customer service coupled with the mindset and aptitude to deliver change and results. Key information: Competitive Rates of Pay! Overtime paid at Premium Rates! Contract Type: Full-Time Permanent Shift Pattern: working 5 out of 7 days per week on a rolling shift pattern with Sunday as your permanent rest day. Accountabilities and responsibilities will include (but not limited to): Delivering KPIs – to include providing actions and evidencing results. Meeting and exceeding customer requirements in terms of Quality, Food Safety, Cost & Delivery. Driving continuous improvement in both our processes and quality. Challenging, mentoring and coaching people. Actively promote and deliver improved health and safety behaviours – leading the achievement of a strong Health & Safety culture and environmental awareness. Assisting with any other elements of the day to day running of the Department and working as part of the team. In your role, you will: Work well under pressure and within a fast paced, ever-changing environment – to include making decisions with the required amount of urgency. Anticipate and identify challenges / problems and owning these through to conclusion. Understand factors that affect efficiency (i.e. yields, labour costs, waste, non-conformances etc.). Demonstrate tangible and sustained KPI improvements. Demonstrate strong team building and people management skills.
