As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the General Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the bar and restaurant. You will be responsible for ensuring a seamless guest experience, managing the team, and maintaining high standards in service, food and beverage offerings, and overall customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring smooth service and an exceptional guest experience.
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of staff, ensuring top-tier customer service.
Monitor and manage staff schedules, training, and performance.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and hygiene standards.
Support the General Manager with budgeting, stock management, and ordering.
Maintain and build positive relationships with guests to ensure repeat business.
Handle any guest queries, complaints, or feedback in a professional manner.
About You:
Proven experience in an assistant manager role in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality environment. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude. Good understanding of bar and restaurant operations, including financials, stock control, and health and safety. A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work under pressure and solve problems efficiently.
