We are looking to Recruit a passionate and devoted Senior Area Manager to lead and manage all care and support services in a designated “super area” in line with CQC regulations, taking full responsibility for staff and resources in this designated area. This role offers a chance for you to drive an eager team to success and bring innovative ideas to light on how we can improve as Care brand to help provide the maximum support to our customers and community in the North-East Region. Some Main Duties and Responsibilities are: 1. To support the effective delivery of the company’s agreed strategy, mission and vision including preparing performance monitoring reports and reporting to Boards, Committees and any relevant stakeholders as required. 2. To support the Head of Service in the strategic planning and development of the company to ensure it continues to meet the needs and aspirations of present and future customers and their families. 3. To assist the Head of Service to identify and facilitate new opportunities and funding streams to grow service delivery to support current and future sustainability. 4. To take responsibility for preparing in conjunction with the Head of Service the annual action plans and budgets for area of responsibility and to contribute to the development of the company’s strategic plan. 5. To evaluate the performance of each service utilising performance management protocols, ensuring all data is recorded on the CRM system and within Balance Score Cards. 6. To lead on the implementation of company polices ensuring all staff and a volunteers are adequately trained in our policies and procedure 7. To ensure all digital platforms are fully utilized including for monitoring performance and handling customer inquiries to develop supportive relationships with external stakeholders and Partners. 8. To act as the lead Safeguarding Officer for your area of responsibility, and ensure compliance with the Group’s Safeguarding Policy and Framework, and to be responsible for reporting on Safeguarding to your Head of Service 9. To manage and ensure compliance with all GDPR and Legislation including Health and Social Care Act 2008, (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2010 and the Care Quality Commission (registration) regulations 2009, upholding criteria for registration 10. To work in line with the Customer Excellence Strategy and actively monitor customer satisfaction including feedback in ‘a timely’ and positive manner. 11. To support EveryDay Managers to induct new staff as agreed with the Human Resources Department to comply with Group’s Equal Opportunities policies, legislative requirements, and organisational policy 12. To line manage a team of staff comprising of EveryDay Area Managers, Project Managers and Area Coordinators ensuring staff receive regular individual and staff supervisions, annual Appraisal, and the opportunity to engage in organisation wide engagement activities. Essentials: 1. NVQ Level 5 in Management or Registered Manager’s Award 2. Degree Level or Equivalent 3. Full working Knowledge of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 4. 5+ Years experience managing in a Social or Health Care setting and people management 5. In-depth knowledge and understanding of quality issues and good practices while working independently or joint with partner agencies. 6. Experience with risk management & assessment processes 7. Experience with performance management including effective workforce planning and development of new services and commercial opportunities 8.
