Sales Manager - Defence

Defence Solutions Provider is hiring for a Sales Manager for their team based near Southampton. This is a permanent role offering a hybrid basis of 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home. You must be prepared and eligible for SC or DV Clearance.

Responsibilities include:

Proactive Business Development from requirements identification, capture and shaping through to order closure.
Internal and external stakeholder management to drive successful sales outcomes through the full sales lifecycle.
Develop, Owning and managing a rolling 5-year forecast to accurately deliver Order Intake for future business planning.
Identifying and executing partnering strategies in support of campaign objectives, securing win-win positions with our partners.

Essential skills include:

Experience of working within the procurement cycle for large-scale ( 20m+) and complex projects with UK Ministry of Defence.
Proven ability to demonstrate integrity and build organisational trust with customers and partners, building relationships for the long term.
Knowledge of UK MoD, organisations and structures, and how to align them to products and services.
A proven track record of Bidding and Winning large-scale ( 20m+) and complex projects with UK Ministry of Defence
An understanding of how UKStratCom procures Strategic Services and R&D would be highly desirable.
