Coded Welder / Plater / Site Welder – West Yorkshire - £17.75ph + O/T Our client a leading fabrication specialist in West Yorkshire are looking to recruit an experienced Coded Welder / Plater for a mix of workshop and on-site installation work. Welder, Plater, Fabrication, Coded Welding, Site Welder, MIG, TIG, Stick Welding The role will involve: Coded welding across mix of flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead and pipe (to 6G) positional MIG, TIG and Stick welds to X-Ray standard. Plating and welding medium to large fabrications. Able to read engineering drawings and make a cutting list from a drawing. Perform welding and plating activities to drawing tolerances. Able to operate a plasma cutter and radial arm drill. Safe worker and team player. Ability to work on own or in a team. Willing to work away from home (overnight stays) for occasional onsite installation work. Requirements: Must be proficient in positional MIG, TIG and Stick welding (to 6G) and either still be coded or can show coded status in the past. To X-Ray standard. Must be proficient in MIG welding. Must be able to read engineering drawings. Full UK driving licence Experience of site installation is essential, as the Company’s scope of work on a contract can include site installation – will require working away from home. The role pays £17.75 ph for min 37.5 hour working week (07:30-15:30 Mon-Fri). Plenty of overtime available including site work (10 hour working days) and overnight stay allowance.
