Public Affairs, Senior Account Director, Central London, Hybrid 2/3 days a week in the office.


Are you an experienced Senior Account Director with a passion for public affair and corporate communications? An amazing people first PR and communications agency is seeking a Senior Account Director to join their growing team.


As the Senior Account Director, you will be responsible for leading a team of account managers and executives in developing and executing strategic communication plans for our clients in the political and government sectors. You will be a key player in advising clients on their communication strategies, managing media relations, and crisis communications.


The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the political or government realm. You must have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of media relations, and the ability to think strategically.


You will also be responsible for leading new business leads and growing accounts to help grow the business. As well as ensuring a broad understanding of financial management principles to ensure decisions are fiscally sound and responsible.

Requirements:

  • Over 8 years pr and communications experience.
  • Over 8 years client services experience.
  • Proven experience within a PR and Communications agency.
  • Proven experience working on Public Affairs, Government, Crisis Communications or policy accounts or more specifically worked on energy communications.
  • Proven track record of client success and growing accounts.
  • In-depth knowledge of the public affairs industry, including an understanding of regulatory environments and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently engage and advise clients.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing and developing a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic communication plans.
  • Proactive and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
