Assistant Quantity Surveyor We have been retained by a client, to assist in the search for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a well known regional main contractor in Portsmouth. About the business: The business, a privately owned regional main contractor, they have turned over circa £100mil a year for the last few years. They have taken on projects across a range of sectors including industrial, commercial and defence valuing typically up to £25mil. About the role of Assistant Quantity Surveyor: As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will join an established commercial team and will work closely with a Senior Quantity Surveyor on one of the upcoming schemes in the region. Key Responsibilities as Assistant Quantity Surveyor: Work closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor, on sub-contract packages from procurement through to final account Be involved in monthly CVRs Have involvement in pre-construction activities Requirements for this Assistant Quantity Surveyor position: HNC / Degree qualified Have a proven track record of working at Assistant / Quantity Surveyor level within a main contractor Good working knowledge of JCT forms of contract (NEC experience is desirable but not essential) Whats on offer for this Assistant Quantity Surveyor position: Competitive salary and package Strong pipeline of work across Hampshire and Dorset Great progression opportunity This is a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a business with a steady pipeline of projects.
