Senior Development Chemist

We are currently looking for a Senior Development Chemist for a chemical company in Cambridgeshire.

As a Senior Development Chemist you will lead projects in small scale process development and scale up of fine chemicals.

Responsibilities include:

• Carry out small scale process development of chemicals.
• Lead projects in scale-up from laboratory scale through to production.
• Complete all documentation for research development and scale-up projects.
• Carry out maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Work with other teams including Research, Production and Quality Control.
• Lead and train junior members of the team.

Ideal candidates will have:

A degree/ Masters (MChem, MSc, MSci) or PhD in Chemistry/ Synthetic Organic Chemistry and have previous industrial experience working in a process development
