As a Translation Editor, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of translations by editing and proofreading translated documents, maintaining consistency in style, tone, and accuracy. You will work closely with translators, project managers, and other team members to deliver precise and polished content to our clients. Edit and proofread translated texts to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to style and tone. Review translations for grammatical correctness, consistency, and cultural appropriateness. Trados Studio, XBench) to enhance editing and proofreading processes. Communicate effectively with project managers to resolve any linguistic issues and provide feedback. Apply a keen understanding of style, tone, and register to ensure content meets client specifications. Educated to degree level (ideally in Translation Studies, Languages, or a related field). Native-level proficiency in Italian or Spanish, with strong oral and written English skills. Very good computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent grammar knowledge and proofreading skills. Flawless writing skills with a strict attention to detail. Proficiency in additional languages is a plus. Prior experience in a similar role within the language industry is an advantage. Desired Qualities: Bilingual proficiency in English is highly desirable.
