My client is seeking a motivated and skilled Anti-Social Behaviour Officer to join their dynamic Community Safety team. If you're passionate about improving community safety, developing strategic responses to anti-social behaviour, and working closely with key stakeholders, this is the role for you! The Role ·Lead and coordinate  strategic and operational responses to anti-social behaviour and community safety. ·Work collaboratively with Local Police, Social Services, Housing Providers, and other agencies to ensure effective solutions to community safety issues. ·Carry out home visits, attend meetings, and liaise with partners to address anti-social behaviour and tenancy issues. ·Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of casework using various systems, including Microsoft Office, Nafn, Uniform, and in-house platforms. ·Develop and manage community safety initiatives in line with the Council's priorities, ensuring alignment with local and national regulations, such as the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime & Policing Act 2014. ·Play a key role in the Community Safety Partnership (CSP), including chairing task forces, delivering projects, and managing budgets. ·Provide leadership on community safety strategies and support elected officials and senior officers. ·Attend and contribute to meetings both within and outside of normal office hours, as required. ·Use social media and other channels to increase community engagement and raise awareness of safety initiatives. The Ideal Candidate ·Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience in using dedicated ASB systems (e.g., Uniform). ·Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with external agencies. ·Proven experience in delivering community projects and working in challenging partnerships. ·A clean UK driving license and access to your own vehicle. ·Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings when required. ·Knowledge of local authority services and relevant legislation. ·Experience handling sensitive and confidential information. ·Demonstrated ability to manage teams and events, including working with volunteers and contractors. ·A passion for community welfare and a commitment to making a difference. ***Candidates must have the right to work in the UK to be considered for this role***   What you need to do now:  If you are interested in this role and fit the criteria above, please send us your application today.
