CNC Machinist – London - £27k – £30k CNC Machinist – Package Overview * Salary: £27k – £30k * Full time, Permanent * 9-hour shifts, Flexible hours * Training provided CNC Machinist – Company Overview Our client is a leading provider of high-quality bespoke sculptures and installations, servicing clients across a variety of sectors including events, hospitality, and corporate industries. They are now looking for a dynamic and creative individual to join their team as a CNC Machinist. CNC Machinist – Roles & Responsibilities * Set and operate, 3-axis and Bulldog CNC machines to produce bespoke products, based on detailed CAD models and drawings. * Physically move and position large blocks using lifting equipment, and manual techniques. * Use band saws to cut and prepare raw materials for machining, ensuring the material is the correct size and shape for CNC processing. * Make manual adjustments to programmes during the machining process. * Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines, band saws, and other equipment to ensure peak performance and safety. * Inspect finished products and components to ensure they meet design specifications and client expectations. * Be physically active, as the role requires lifting, moving, and positioning heavy blocks and operating large equipment CNC Machinist – Skills & Experience * Previous experience in a manufacturing, or creative production environment. * Prior experience with CNC machinery is beneficial but not essential, training will be provided. * Ability to perform physically active tasks, including lifting and moving heavy materials, using proper tools and equipment. * Enthusiasm for learning about CNC machining, and creative production processes. * Ability to follow instructions carefully and maintain a focus on accuracy and quality. * Good communication skills and a willingness to work with senior machinists and other team members. * Preferred (but not required): * Understanding of CNC machines or CAD/CAM software. * Familiarity with band saws or other cutting tools.
