Pre-Press/ Artworker/ All-rounder

Position: Pre-Press/Artworker/All-rounder Location: Berkshire Salary: £27,000 - £35,000 Depending on Experience Overtime: paid at time and a half The Company: Large Format print & graphics company, specialising in design, print and installation projects for interior/exterior graphics, signage and display. The Role: An all-round role working with a small friendly team Pre-Press art working for large format print projects Setting up files & preparing layouts for print from supplied artwork Working with pre-press/finishing equipment and software Assist the Print Manager in performing other daily tasks when required Adobe and In-Design knowledge required – Pre-Press Checking and adjusting files before sending to the printer, double checking proofs Drawings to scale after a site survey – presentation pack Site surveys – Basic ones to start Assisting on the shop floor Placing stock orders Arranging overnight and same-day deliveries Simple quotes on their quoting system Simple design work Social media posts and e-shots (marketing) Website updates Helping with simple installations Some limited training would be given Requirements: Experienced Art worker with excellent knowledge of Adobe CC – Pre press Knowledge of large format print Working in a team-based environment Proactive attitude Excellent organisational skills
