Mechanical Estimator

A Leading Chiller specialist in service and maintenance currently have a key requirement for an experienced Estimator to produce successful tenders and accurate estimations for remedial work projects on AC systems within large retail outlets, offices, Hospitals and Labs in London and Home Counties £45K - £60K Dependent on experience - based in South West London As the successful Mechanical Estimator, you will be working with the Service department and Project Management teams to quote works and projects to commercial clients. The work is varied as the project value is up to £150,000. Time management is key as you will be working on multiple estimations at one time. As the Successful Mechanical Estimator, you will be; Mechanical Estimator will be reading and understanding specifications Mechanical Estimator will do the Preparation and Issue of supplier enquiry packages Mechanical Estimator will do the Preparation of Tender cost reports Mechanical Estimator will be estimating on AC Remedial works worth up to £150,000 Mechanical Estimator will be attending site visits to establish the scope of work and specific requirements on remedial projects To qualify for the position of Mechanical Estimator you will need; Mechanical Estimator will need experience in Estimating on HVAC Mechanical Installations Mechanical Estimator with experience in Estimating on Full AC Systems - Liquid cooled chiller experience is advantageous Mechanical Estimator needs to be living in commuting distance to Wimbledon Mechanical Estimator needs good knowledge in AC / Chiller product knowledge Mechanical Estimator should ideally have a mechanical engineering qualification or building services qualification Benefits for the Mechanical Estimator position £45,000 - £60,000k base package + 10% performance related bonus dependant on experience. 20 days holiday + Bank holiday Great technical training and support when needed Pension scheme + private healthcare Contact Rhys at Tech-People on (phone number removed) the specialist recruitment agency and business within HVAC, M&E and Utilities.
