Learning Support Assistant - Chessington We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work within a wonderful SEND school located in the Chessington area. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be required to support children 1:1 with special needs and you will be an important member of staff ensuring that all children receive tailored help as a Learning Support Assistant. Job Details Position: Learning Support Assistant Location: Chessington Position start date: September 2024 Contract type: Full-time, temporary Salary: £85 - £100 per day The Role: Work with children 1:1 when needed to provide specialised support A Learning Support Assistant requires you to work one-on-one or in a small group, supporting children with their education, behavioural and social development Assisting Teachers to plan learning activities, prepare learning materials, complete records, and carry out administrative tasks Help children who need extra support to complete tasks Ensure pupils feel comfortable and confident in their own abilitiesRequirements: Experience working with young people or SEND children in any capacity You will need the ability to monitor each pupil's responses and adapt the learning activities to suit their needs Have excellent verbal and written English skills Must be able to demonstrate that you are trustworthy and ethical Either live in Chessington or within a commutable distance
