DV Cleared Commissioning Engineer

Due to rapid and continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a DV Cleared Commissioning Engineer to join a leading Engineering organisation specialising in the delivery of consultancy services, engineering solutions and site operations support, to some of the UK’s leading Defence contractors. This role is a contract role, Hybrid, can be outside of IR35 ( pending determination) and requires DV Clearance. Role Overview: As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a key role in project delivery, contributing to commissioning strategies and supporting documentation for successful project execution. This position will require close collaboration with sub-contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure all technical and engineering aspects of the project meet the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: Develop and input into commissioning strategies and high-level control documentation. Attend FATs, ensuring supplier adherence to test plans and proper installation of equipment. Witness and ensure Setting to Work activities are performed according to documented procedures and sign off on completion. Manage project engineers and technicians to support STW, SAT, and inactive commissioning activities. Prepare essential documentation to support project delivery, including: Control Plans Setting to Work (StW) documents Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) documents Inactive commissioning documents Method Statements and Risk Assessments LTQR documentation Liaise with sub-contractors and suppliers to generate and review: Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) documents Control Plans Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) documents Inactive commissioning documents LTQR documentation Qualifications: All applicants must have DV Security Level Clearance.
