Daniel Owen Agency are currently looking for a HSQE / Compliance Manager based in Brentwood, Essex. We are looking for someone who has extensive experience within the Rail industry, having a minimum of 3 years within the Rail industry.
In order to be suitable for this position, you MUST have a Valid PTS ticket & Nebosh Certificate / Qualification. You MUST also have a Full UK Driving License.
Duties:
Production, monitoring and audit of the safety quality and environmental policies and procedures.
Ensure the company is compliant to the strict industry standards of Network Rail's RISQS standards.
Manage the HSQE and Compliance of the company to maintain full engagement in meeting the business objectives.
Identify and implement quality and efficiency improvement initiatives.
Ensure safety stand downs are undertaken in accordance with RISQ standards.
Compile and maintain risk assessments, method statements and policies for the company activities.
Manage Close Call reporting.
Manage the process of reporting of accidents and incidents.
Train and brief staff on lessons learnt following any accidents and incidents.
Skills
NEBOSH qualified with comprehensive knowledge of safety and operational issues.
At least 3 years of experience in the rail industry and a valid PTS ticket.
Strong understanding of railway processes, procedures, and Sentinel Rules.
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and adaptable to unexpected challenges.
Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, including Word and Excel, with a willingness to travel and learn.
