About the Role:

As a Learning and Development Specialist at Arthur, you will be responsible for creating, implementing, and delivering the overall learning and development strategy in line with the company’s long-term goals. This role involves identifying and assessing the learning and development needs of individual employees to ensure that we drive performance and develop our people in the right way. You will play a pivotal part in enhancing team performance, identifying skill gaps and building Arthur's learning and development vertical.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, create, and deliver various training programmes that are aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Create and implement a 12-month learning and development programme, that applies to different levels of Recruitment roles and the Business Services team
  • Develop training materials, such as including manuals, guides, e-learning modules and other training and support content
  • Work closely with the Directors to ensure that the training programme is aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Conduct training needs analysis to identify skill gaps and collaborate with managers to identify the training needs of the teams
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the training programmes by using assessments, feedback and surveys, and make changes based on the data collected
  • Report on training outcomes and maintain training records
  • Work closely with the management team to support their team members' continuous learning and development needs in line with their quarterly appraisals
  • Be the go-to person for any learning and development needs, training, and upskilling needs
  • Support employees post-training to ensure that the learning is being applied on the desk
  • Liaise with external training providers and manage relationships with third-party suppliers
  • Collaborate with HR on any learning and development initiative


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in learning and development in the recruitment industry
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing successful learning and development programmes
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to assess needs, and evaluate effectiveness
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to make decisions based on data
  • Can see creative solutions to problems, and can be flexible in their approach
