SEND Support Assistant

Situated in the heart of Muswell Hill is a supportive and welcoming Primary School who are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Learning Support Assistant who specialises in supporting children with Special Educational Needs, to provide high quality support to students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. Working days: Monday to Friday Working hours: 8:30am until 4pm What the role will involve: Supporting students with needs such as Autism, SEMH, ADHD, Down's Syndrome and MLD Working closely with the class teacher and schools SENco to ensure the best support is provided Completing observations and updating individuals' journals Liaising with external agencies such as occupational therapists and speech and language therapists What you need to apply for the SEND Support position: Experience working with Special Educational Needs Sound knowledge of the Primary curriculum An up-to-date DBS, ideally registered with the update service or happy to apply for a DBS What we can offer you as a candidate through TimePlan Education: Competitive rates of pay Pre-booked work PAYE or Umbrella options for pay (your choice) Repeat bookings and consistent schools Local work A friendly and helpful TimePlan Education team TimePlan Education are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children and young people and expect all staff to show this commitment.
