About The Job:
As the Head of Membership, you will play a crucial role in leading and developing member recruitment, engagement, and retention strategy. Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and various departments within the organisation, you will be responsible for driving impactful results and leading a small team.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team responsible for member engagement, recruitment, and retention activities
Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive membership growth and increase member satisfaction
Represent our client at internal and external events, both in the UK and overseas, acting as an ambassador for the organisation
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and effectively communicate the benefits and services available to members
Analyse complex data to provide actionable insights and inform decision-makingRequirements:
Previous experience in successfully delivering strategic initiatives with measurable business results
Strong leadership skills with a passion for service excellence
Excellent stakeholder relationship management skills
Resilient and emotionally intelligent, able to adapt to the needs of others while balancing the needs of the organisation
Display professionalism, discretion, and integrity in handling sensitive matters
Commercial acumen and the ability to influence others
Exceptional communication, public-speaking, and presentation skills
Strong IT skills, including advanced proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and CRM systems
Proven analytical and report-writing abilities
Risk mindset with the ability to identify and manage potential risks
Previous experience within the travel industry is essential
Business development and/or sales experience within professional organisations is desirable
